China’s rising ratings surpass Japan in supplying travelers who travel to Bali . The country also ranks second in ten countries whose citizens most traveled to Bali .
” China ranks second after Australia , while Japan shifted from the second position to the third , ” said Head of the Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) of Bali Gede Suarsa in Denpasar, on Saturday ( 06/08/2013 ) .
He said , Chinese people visiting Bali as many as 128 134 people during the four -month period from January to April 2013 , an increase of 3.09 percent compared to the same period the previous year which recorded 124 293 people .
China is able to provide a contribution of 13.22 percent of the total foreign tourists (tourists ) visited Bali many as 969 382 people during the first four months of 2013. Figure shows the increase of 3.60 percent from the same period the previous year recorded 935 724 people .
Gd Suarsa adds , Japan , who finished third this citizens traveled to Bali recorded 65 436 people , up 18.22 percent from the same period the previous year 124 293 people . Tourists from Japan to contribute 8.75 percent of the total foreign tourists visiting Bali .
Bali Provincial Government is targeting China’s tourist arrivals in 2013 about 400,000 people , an increase of 10 percent from 2012 about 300,000 people . The target was obtained from the estimated one million tourists from China who traveled to Indonesia according to information from the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Surabaya .
This amount is relatively very small compared to the number of Chinese citizens traveling overseas to travel around the world per year, reaching 75 million people .
